5 Ideas for Social Media Posts when You're Feeling Stuck
When you have to constantly come up with social media posts every day, it’s easy to run out of ideas or feel like your life is too boring to talk about with any kind of excitement. I understand this struggle deeply as I manage not just my own Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, but all the social media content for about a dozen other businesses. There are days when it’s a struggle to come up with something unique and compelling for any and all of these social media pages.
So, in case you’re running out of options and need ideas to post on social media, here are 5 quick ideas for when you’re feeling stuck!
1) Share one of your struggles - past or present struggles make you relatable to your audience because after all, everyone is going through something and they want to know they are not alone!
2) What’s your favorite quote? - find a quote that is compelling and talk about why it means so much to you.
3) Highlight Another Business - is there another business you admire? Someone you’ve worked with in the past (or want to work with in the future)? Talk about why you love their business so much and reap the added rewards of networking on social media!
4) Share Helpful Resources - have you learned a lot from an article, podcast, or book? Share what you learned and where you learned it from so others can take advantage as well.
5) Ask a Question - there’s no better way to get engagement than to ask your followers for their advice. This could be about ANYTHING - new recipes, weekend activities, restaurants/coffee shops to try…the list is endless. Then engage by responding to their comments and, as a bonus, you may just get some new ideas for yourself!
I hope these social media ideas helped! If you have one to share that can help someone else, leave a comment below and let me know!
