The Best Online Marketing Resources
One of my goals when I train and coach other business owners in the area of Search Engine Optimization and online marketing is to make sure they have continued resources to rely on past the time we spend together. While I am always willing to answer questions, the marketing world is constantly changing and updating as time goes on. It has not been nor will it ever be something static that can be studied once and forgotten!
For this reason I have several sources of knowledge that I love to recommend for other business owners to watch as algorithms change and the knowledge base shifts. If you are looking for blogs and websites to follow that will help enhance your SEO and online marketing efforts, look no further!
1) My Email Newsletter - shameless plug! I release a monthly newsletter with SEO tips and tricks, advice about online ads, and more every other week. Reply anytime to ask specific questions and I’ll send back an answer as soon as I can!
2) Moz Blog - this has been my number one go-to website for all things SEO. There are a variety of newsletters from a daily email to their monthly top 10. While not all of their information is applicable to small businesses, there is tons of pertinent information that helps me keep on top of the trends at any given time.
3) Social Media Examiner - I have followed this website for years, and their content never disappoints. In addition to a blog filled with valuable resources, they have an excellent YouTube channel and two podcasts that cover all the topics I need to know in the world of social media, from Facebook to Instagram to Pinterest and more.
4) Social Curator - a subscription-based resource, Social Curator is chock-full of amazing tools and training to help skyrocket your marketing game. From monthly masterclasses with special guests to stock images and captions to help round out your social media posts to a Facebook group for like-minded business owners, I have never regretted jumping in full force a few years ago. I highly recommend it to entrepreneurs of all industries and experience levels!
Those are my top four recommendations, but I know there are so many other resources out there for online marketing! What do you find valuable that I should add to my list?
